1. Register and make initial payments at www.bikeone.pl

Website www.bikeone.pl can be used for registration and introducing any changes on Customer’s personal account. You can also make all payments for using BikeOne system on the website. In order to use BikeOne services you must register and pay initial amounts required by the system.

2. Switch on the bike rental station. Check if the selected bike is operational.

Before you rent a bike, check whether it is operational (has got air in the tyres, straight handlebars and seat, a cable for changing gears is not cut). If the bike you selected visually meets the above-mentioned conditions switch on the bike rental station. If you notice a bike, which is not operational in the bike rental station, please, contact BikeOne Customer Service Centre at +48609901111, e-mail: bok@bikeone.pl.

3. Enter the number of the selected bike and your BikeOne customer number. Confirm the operation with your PIN number. Remember that PIN number is confidential!

After switching on the bike rental station you must enter the number of the selected and checked bike. The next step which will be indicated by the machine is to enter your BikeOne Customer number (the number you received when you registered at www.bikeone.pl). The operation must be confirmed by entering PIN number specified during the first log in at the website. Remember! Customer number and PIN number are confidential. Each of them is allocated to the Customer as it is done in case of bank cards. Sharing the information about Customer number and PIN number with someone can lead to other people renting bikes on your account therefore, please, treat them as confidential!

4. The system checks availability of the bike and your status in BikeOne system.

During this operation the system checks whether the selected bike is not reserved by the service as allocated for maintenance check. All bikes in BikeOne network undergo maintenance checks based on the period of use of every bike. Irrespective of looking and being operational the bike must undergo a maintenance check and therefore it is reserved.

The system checks the accuracy of the data entered by the user. It is also important to check whether the Customer can rent a bike at a given time (whether it is not another bike rented at the same time, whether financial operations balance is sufficient to cover possible costs of rental, whether the Customer committed an offence while using BikeOne bikes which means that membership is suspended).

5. The system signals authorisation and releases the port. You have 15 seconds to plug the bike out.

After checking the accuracy of data the system authorises rental operation and signals the release of the port of a selected bike with a sound. You have 15 seconds to plug the bike out of the port. The bike is ready for the trip. Remember! First 30 minutes of the trip are free of charge within the subscription paid.

Although BikeOne bike is a complementary means of transport in city transport, the biker is subject to the same limitations as other participants of traffic. Remember that during rental you are responsible for the rented bike, which remains under your care and responsibility during entire period of rental. Therefore if you want to stop the trip at a different place than BikeOne station you should protect the bike against possible theft.

6. Upon return of the bike, plug it in an empty port.

Every trip by BikeOne bike starts and finishes at BikeOne parking station. Therefore when you plan to use BikeOne bike it is advisable to use the plan with BikeOne parking stations marked and adapt your trip. Calculating fees for using the bike starts from the 31 minute of the rental – it is advisable to plan the trip so as to make minimal payments.
